Enter the bill, the tip percent and how many people. You get the tip, the total with tip and each person's share, with the arithmetic written out.
Press Split the bill. Working out the split takes a moment; if you named a city or venue it also checks local tipping customs.
Tip = bill total × tip percent ÷ 100. Total with tip = bill total + tip. Each share = total with tip ÷ number of people, rounded up to the nearest cent so the table never comes up short. Every line is printed in the result so you can check it against the receipt.
Leave it empty and the app does pure arithmetic — no web call at all. Type a city or setting, such as “Tokyo izakaya” or “Lisbon café”, and it runs one quick lookup and adds two or three etiquette notes with their sources beneath the split.
